Cut by Cut: 47 Remain
As was expected after the first exhibition game that the Colorado Avalanche made another round of cuts but this one was another light trimming as the bulk of those ticketed for the Colorado Eagles still remain with the big club and a sizable group of 47 in total.

Each of these four players were part of the group which was sent to Vegas for the game. Netminder Trent Miner did not dress for the game but was perhaps acting as the emergency third goaltender.
The other three forwards had an uphill climb just to stick around to the second week of camp. Alex Beaucage will begin his pro career with the Eagles while this may be the last of Nick Henry in Denver. Dalton Smith will also go to Eagles camp on an AHL contract.
None of the cuts thus far have been surprises. The weekend might have a longer list as some battles are won and lost.
