After a 15 day COVID-19 break the Tri-City Americans were back at it and Sasha Mutala wasted no time getting the team on the board.

His statistics have suffered a bit through a couple losses but Trent Miner is still one of the best goaltenders in the WHL this season.

Over in the AHL, Justin Barron has joined the fray and picked up his first two professional points. The first on a standard flip to Alex Newhook on the power play but his second was a gorgeous stretch pass to set up another goal shortly after to Ryan Wagner.

Alex Newhook continues to score at will on the power play as mentioned above but also picked up this nice tally at even strength. A great dish from Jean-Luc Foudy from the wall helped set up Newhook at a great spot for his second goal of the contest and undoubtably led to his Avalanche recall.
Foudy also received another primary assist on this Sampo Ranta goal where he helped create a rebound at the net front in which Ranta jammed home.
