Prospect Weekly: Still Going
As several leagues have wound down until the new year, there are still a few going strong and pumping out highlights from Colorado Avalanche prospects.
Nicky Leivermann was the hero as Notre Dame completed a comeback victory over Arizona State. His goal where he snagged and then rifled his own rebound with just five seconds left in the game was a record setting tally as the latest third period game winning goal in program history. It was also his second of the game as Leivermann has accumulated four points in six games thus far.

It didn’t take long for Colby Ambrosio to score his first collegiate goal. Finding quick chemistry on a line with Matt Boldy as Alex Newhook‘s replacement has paid off for Ambrosio. But even with all the World Junior departures Ambrosio keeps the scoring going with this quick release gem for his fourth in five games.
