Martin Kaut is still in the organization and he’s heating up scoring goals including two breakaway individual efforts as the Colorado Eagles went on to defeat Bakersfield 4-1. Kaut now has scored 17 goals this season.

Kaut is also chipping in assists as evidenced by this fantastic pass across the slot to Jean-Luc Foudy for his eighth goal of the season. The score wasn’t enough though as the Eagles fell to Bakersfield 6-5 that evening, Kaut has had a great couple of weekends as he picked up four goals and two assists in his last four games.

Also, a huge congratulations to Sean Behrens and the Denver Pioneers as they defeated Minnesota State 5-1 to claim their ninth NCAA Championship. Behrens did not pick up any points in the Frozen Four but was a big part of a championship team’s back end in just his freshman year. His final stat line reads 29 points including three goals in 37 games.
