Prospect Weekly: Eyes on the Prize
It hasn’t been a good season for Boston College but Drew Helleson helped the squad beat their rivals Boston University 3-1 with this one-timer goal. It was his third goal on the year in what seems to be likely his final collegiate season.

Sean Behrens has reason to celebrate his already successful freshman campaign with a NCHC All-Rookie team nod. He’s scored 27 points in 30 games thus far.

The Colorado Eagles have not been very helpful in providing highlights lately but with all the veterans healthy there have not been much to share anyhow. One notable moment occurred this week as Shane Bowers scored a very nice goal on the rush in a 5-2 losing effort to the San Diego Gulls.

The Eagles had a better weekend sweeping the Gulls in the back-to-back. Justin Barron provided the lone prospect highlight on this his fifth goal on the year. He now has 19 points in 39 games which isn’t going to earn him any hype but that’s good enough to fall seventh on the team in scoring, leading all prospects on the Eagles and sixth in the AHL for scoring from rookie defensemen. With only three power play points and in a reduced role that is pretty good production for the 20-year old.
