Another Avalanche property enjoying a strong start to the post season is Brandon Saigeon who has a goal and four assists, which leads the team after two games. The goal seen below is on a neat tip deflection on the way to 7-2 victory in game one against Peterborough. Oshawa leads that series 2-0 and looks primed to cruise through to the second round.

Cam Morrison always saves a goal for the post season and used his heavy shot to put up Notre Dame 3-2 as seen below in their eventual victory and Big 10 Championship crown.
Both Notre Dame and UMass were placed in the Northeastern bracket in the NCAA tournament and could potentially face each other for a berth into the Frozen Four if they win their preliminary games. The schedule is as follows:
UMass vs. Harvard, Friday March 29th, 3pm ET on ESPN2
Notre Dame vs. Clarkson, Friday March 29th, 6:30pm ET on ESPNU

Colorado Eagles were shut out for the second game in a row in their first meeting with Manitoba on the weekend in a 2-0 loss. In the following evening’s rematch AJ Greer made his usual impact between callups and gave the Eagles a lead on a tipped point shot as seen below. Unfortunately the Eagles couldn’t hold on and fell in overtime 3-2.
