Prospect Weekly: Heating Up
Don’t worry Avalanche fans, it’s only a matter of time before Cale Makar arrives. In the meantime Makar added two goals and two assists plus eight shots on goal in a 5-1 victory over Vermont to pad his Hobey Baker bid. He now has eight goals and 16 assists on the year.

The Colorado Eagles secured a much needed victory over Bakersfield on Friday. In the 6-3 final there was a wide variety of scoring including Logan O’Connor shorthanded and one on the empty net, Michael Joly on a penalty shot, Martin Kaut on a 5v3 and this absolute beauty seen below for the game winning goal. Kaut protected the puck and dragged around the whole Condors defense and finished with a nifty wrister.
