Avs vs Canucks: GWG Challange and GDT, Game #62

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Canucks of Vancouver at the Pepsi Center. Game time is 9pm ET/7pm in the mountains and can be seen on Altitude and NHLtv. Moser’s radio call will be available as usual from the NHL app and Gamecenter.

The Avs made it through the trade deadline unscathed save for saying goodbye to Chris Bigras. They did gain defensemen Mark Alt off the waiver wire and Ryan Graves from the Rangers org. They’re both really tall at least. David Warsofsky, Dominic Toninato and Andrew Hammond were sent to the minors for 5 minutes so they can still play in the AHL if need be the rest of the season. Sven Andrighetto and Jon Bernier did a little pre-practice skating today and Anton Lindholm was spotted in a non-contact jersey so there’s some progress there. Sergei Boikov and Vlad Kamenev are coming to Denver for some rehab. Boiks is done for the season but Kam could still play I guess. Nice to have the team back in town for a little news, right?
