Prospect Weekly: Captain Ottawa
It was a tough week for captain Travis Barron‘s Ottawa 67s as they lost a trio of road games in two and a half days and only picking up one point in the process. In the middle game against the Flint Firebirds, Barron tried to will his team to victory by scoring two goals and peppering the net with nine shots on goal. Ottawa is a young team and will have a lot of ups and downs again but Barron is off to a good start with four points in five games.

Shoutout to Josh Anderson for this beauty of an assist on a pretty stretch pass in 3-0 victory over the weekend, the first of the year for Prince George. Anderson added another assist and was named first star in last night’s win as well.

The NCAA was in exhibition last weekend and Cam Morrison did what he does best by cleaning up near the net. The real action gets going this weekend, all on Saturday, October 6th for Cale Makar, Denis Smirnov and Morrison.
That will do it for the 1st 20 minutes of play, teams are tied 1-1 after Team USA added a 5-on-3 PP goal.
