GWG Challenge: 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs (First Round)

The Stanley Cup Playoffs are here at last, and the Colorado Avalanche, who dominated the NHL throughout the entire regular season, have one singular mission: bring Denver its fourth Stanley Cup championship.

Our participants in this season’s Game-Winning Goal Challenge are gearing up for the singular mission of claiming the GWG Championship.  With the onset of playoff hockey, everyone is loading up in the hopes of building a successful playoff lineup that will bring home the gold.

As has been in years past, all challengers will get the opportunity to custom build a five-skater playoff unit in place of the regular season bonus question in order to earn additional bonus points through the playoffs.  The more points your playoff unit scores, the more points you’ll earn.  Participating in the playoff draft is not mandatory, but leaving these points unclaimed won’t do anyone any favors in chasing down playoff (and championship) glory!
