Prospect Weekly: Still Breathing

All the Colorado Avalanche prospects did their best work for the week all in the first period of the Colorado Eagles’ 6-5 win in Tucson over the weekend. There are now only three regular season games left in a triple game series at home with Ontario. The Eagles have already clinched a round 0 playoff berth where they will compete in a best of three series in order to advance to the actual round 1 of the playoffs but are still competing to earn home ice for that play-in matchup.

Martin Kaut gets the scoring started on the power play for his 18th goal of the season.

Soon after Jean-Luc Foudy crafts this fantastic play to Jayson Megna for a score. Those two plus Kaut have been on the second line and clicking for several weeks.

Finally to bring the lead to 3-0 Shane Bowers gets on the board with a power play goal of his own.
