Prospect Weekly: Four is better than three

What’s better than a hat trick? A quad trick! Oskar Olausson one-upped his own hat trick from last weekend with a four goal effort in what was unfortunately a 8-7 shootout loss to Niagara. Still, all of Olausson’s goals materialized in the third period as Oshawa climbed out of a significant deficit,

Tyler Weiss scored to help Omaha earn a 5-1 win and weekend sweep over St. Cloud state. The goal was Weiss’ eighth of the season and 28th in 30 games thus far in the season.

Over in the AHL all the goal scored in the weekend series against new foe Abbotsford were mostly courtesy of the first power play unit. Good news is that both Martin Kaut and Mikhail Maltsev walked away with two goals and an assist each.
