Prospect Weekly: New Beginnings

Kicking off the week with Nate Clurman‘s first AHL goal when the Eagles lost 3-2 in overtime to Iowa.

In the rematch the Eagles came out on top 3-2 in a shootout. Best goal of the night was Shane Bowers and Sampo Ranta setting up the tally. Notice Ranta’s little kick pass seen below. Bowers also added another assist on the night.

The NCAA is back from holiday break and Drew Helleson had a three assist night in a 6-1 victory including on this slap pass.

Also, Nikolai Kovalenko is officially back with a goal finishing off a rebound chance and then he returned the favor on a 2-on-1 for an assist in a 6-2 win.

And finally, RIP the 2022 World Junior Championship but at least we got this one goal from Oskar Olausson for our trouble.
