Prospect Weekly: Beginnings and Endings
Alex Newhook‘s first pro goal followed just after his first assist in his second game with the Colorado Eagles. Here he gets one of his signature looks from the left flank on the power play.

Sampo Ranta‘s second goal of the AHL season showed how much of a horse he is down low and finished it off with a drive to the net.

Nick Henry gets to play in the AHL on occasion and added this goal, which was the sixth in a decisive 6-2 win, and was his second with the Eagles as well.

Nils Åman‘s season has concluded in the SHL as Leksands fell 2-1 in overtime of the quarterfinals but he left this beauty of a goal as a nice lasting impression heading into the offseason.

Another prospect had a season which has now concluded after it was announced that the QMJHL was moving on to the playoffs and the Halifax Mooseheads would not take part. This means that Justin Barron is available to join the AHL if the organization so chooses and he could also use an ELC too. Barron gave the Halifax faithful a proper goodbye with a great move at the blueline seen below which became an assist and later a goal on a 5v3 for 31 points in 33 games to likely close out his junior career.
A nice moment for the call-up who grew up as a Moose fan. @LambowLandry
