Avs prospect and BU center Shane Bowers has been invited to Team Canada’s National Junior Team Selection camp. The camp opens a week from now in Victoria, BC and those that make final cuts will play in the World Junior Championships in Victoria/Vancouver at the end of the month. [Hockey Canada] [Roster]

Martin Kaut will be attending the Czech WJC Team camp [Czech Prospects] as well as Sampo Ranta for Finland [Scouting Factory]. Still waiting to hear on the Russian roster for Alexei Kovalenko and Daniil Zhuravlev.

Cale Makar has been part of a huge turnaround at UMass Men’s Hockey. Yesterday they got their first #1 ranking. [USCHO]
