Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Blue Jackets of Columbus tonight in Ohio. Game time is 7pm ET/5pm in the mountains and can be seen on Altitude and NHLtv. Moser’s radio call will be available as usual from the NHL app and Gamecenter.
Coach Bednar finally took some drastic measures in the Hawks game by breaking up the top line among others. He still left Soderberg’s alone which is probably a mistake but it is what it is. That has carried over into tonight where for the first time in months Mack, Mikko and Landy will not be together when all healthy. Sven Andrighetto will make his first start in over two months, easing back in on the 4th line and perhaps involved in the power play as well. Varly starts but I have a feeling Bernie will take the next game.
Jost – Mack – Mikko
Nieto – Carl – Comeau
Landy – Kerf – Compher
Andrighetto – Toninato – Bourque
Big Z – Barrie
Nemeth – Girard
Duncan – Lindy
Scratch: Alt, Yak
Injured: Kamenev (arm), Barberio (concussion), Johnson (LBI), Wilson (concussion), Hammond (concussion)
The return home to face Arizona on Saturday afternoon.
