Top 5 Nathan MacKinnon Plays So Far

Nathan MacKinnon hasn’t taken just the next step.  He’s off to the races.

The twenty-two year old center leads all Avalanche skaters in goals (18), assists (34), and points (52), creating chaos for opposing defenseman attempting to slow him down and giving opposing goaltenders nightmares, seemingly scoring at will.  While those totals are certainly remarkable in their own right, what’s even more impressive is that those numbers have placed MacKinnon second among all NHL skaters in points, trailing only Tampa Bay Lightning right wing Nikita Kucherov.
