GDT: Avalanche vs Jets, Game #23

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Flames of Calgary tonight at the Pepsi Center. Game time is 9:30pm ET/7:30pm in the mountains and can be seen on Altitude and NHLtv. Moser’s radio call will be available as usual from the NHL app and Gamecenter.

The Avs blew through 5 roster moves involving defensemen yesterday along with calling up Tyson Jost Sunday and gettin Varly back from illness. Gone are Andrei Mironov and Chris Bigras, Anton Lindholm was activated from IR and and Duncan Siemens called up from San Antonio. Andrew Hammond was re-assigned to Belleville on Sunday as well. Add to this Colin Wilson hasn’t been skating all week with a hip injury and Gabe Landeskog is suspended for 4 games. So basically the only extra player is a defenseman that hasn’t played for the Avs since last Spring. The lines are somewhat familiar with Tyson Jost taking Willie’s spot and the change on D is Lindy taking Miro’s place. Shake ’em up.
