GDT: Avalanche vs Senators in Stockholm, Game #15

Good afternoon sports fans. Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Senators of Ottawa today in beautiful Stockholm, Sweden. Game time is 2pm ET/Noon in the mountains and can be seen on NHLN and Altitude (locally). Moser’s radio call will be available as usual from the NHL app and Gamecenter.

ICYMI, Matt Duchene was traded and is no longer on the Avs roster. He is, however, on Ottawa’s roster and will play his first 2 NHL games not in burgundy & blue vs the team that drafted him. Alexander Kerfoot steps into his role as 2nd line center today.

JT Compher returns to action after missing a few weeks with a broken thumb. He will take Carl Soderberg’s spot on the shutdown line while Carl and his wife await the birth of a child back in Denver. Matt Nieto returns from IR after having the sick last weekend.

For the 6 guys not in the lineup tonight it a bit hazy who’s available, who’s on IR and who might be available tomorrow night. Lindholm is out for a while and on IR. Nemeth has back issues and might be on IR. Tyson Jost is recovering from a 3-week LBI and seems healthy but is possibly still on IR. Carl Soderberg is not with the team due to the aforementioned paternity wait, whether this merits a roster exemption is anyone’s guess. Miro & Greer are healthy scratches as far as we know. If Tyson Jost does play tomorrow then some sort of roster move must be (or already has been) made for him to come off of the injured reserve list. No idea what that would be but my gut tells me he’s not playing tomorrow.

I’m looking to find the old MHH community. Are they here?

Yeah, but most people go to the Discord (link at bottom) for game day threads.
