GWG Challenge: 2021-2022 Season Kickoff

The wait is finally over: the Burgundy Review Game-Winning Goal Challenge has now set sail for the 2021-2022 season!

For those of you new to our season-long challenge, here’s how to play.

The Game-Winning Goal Challenge is open to our Burgundy Review Discord community.  Not a part of our Discord, no problem!  Create a username and join us for the fun!

I will publish an article with a form containing a series of questions every week.  The point values will vary for each question.  The form will be locked for submissions when the puck drops at the start of the first game of the week, so get your submissions in early!

At the end of each week, I will publish the point totals to our Discord Game-Winning Goal Challenge channel.  The participant(s) with the most points at the end of each week will earn a specialized Discord user color of his/her/their choosing, and a special username tag.

Not to mention bragging rights over your peers, because why shouldn’t you be proud of your accomplishments?

The responses from each participant will be recorded and all points will be tabulated as the season progresses.  Participant(s) earning the most points each month will also earn special honors on our Discord server.

The participant(s) with the most points at the end of the season will be crowned our 2021-2022 Burgundy Review Game Winning Goal Challenge Champion!

One more thing: each week, I will publish a bonus question to our Discord.  You don’t want to miss out on those extra points that could put you over the top!

NEW THIS SEASON: each participant will be awarded a one-time “Coach’s Challenge”, redeemable for a one-time free (yes, free!) five-point bonus to use at any point during the regular season!  For more information on the Coach’s Challenge bonus, head to our Discord!

Hockey is back, everyone!  Now, let’s have some fun!

Get your guesses in, and good luck!
