Oskar Olausson might finally be settled into his new home in Oshawa. He had a monster weekend first scoring this the deciding shootout goal in a 4-3 win over Ottawa.

Then Olausson followed that up with a hat trick in a 6-3 victory against Peterborough. Each of the three goals were all different and showed Olausson’s diverse skill set in scoring.

Drew Helleson‘s Olympic journey has begun. He played in two of team USA’s three preliminary games and even picked up a power play assist in a 8-0 win over China. The Americans earned the top overall seed heading into the elimination portion of the tournament but lost to Slovakia in the quarterfinals.

There hasn’t been much to get excited about in Loveland last few weeks but Justin Barron finally created a highlight. Here he shakes overage to put a great shot on goal for a tip goal from Cal Burke. The Eagles would fall 3-2 to Henderson, however.

The Eagles won the following night in a big third period comeback for a 6-3 final after multiple empty net goals. Barron picked up another assist on one of the big goals. Unfortunately no highlight on Jean-Luc Foudy‘s snipe to get the game started.
