Now that the calendar has flipped to 2022 it’s time for all the Colorado Avalanche prospects to make a case to move on to the next level as decisions get made now.
Oskar Olausson finally started playing games with his new team which resulted in a 4-1 victory for Oshawa. Olausson scored the game winning goal and also added an assist on an empty net goal.

Don’t look now but Shane Bowers is heating up. He scored a goal his second consecutive weekend as the Colorado Eagles won back-to-back shootouts.

Sean Behrens set up a nifty score with a keen wrap around effort in DU’s return to action and a 5-2 win over Omaha. Plus two more assists on the weekends earned Behrens NCHC defenseman of the week honors.
