GDT: Avalanche vs Stars, Game #9

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Stars of Dallas tonight at the Pepsi Center. Game time is 9pm ET/7pm local and can be seen on Altitude and NHL.tv. Moser’s radio call will be available as usual from the NHL app and Gamecenter.

Much has happened in the last 4 days. Andrei Mironov was sent down to the Rampage, played 3 games and then recalled again yesterday. AJ Greer & Gabe Bourque battled for and won spots on the NHL roster on Fri/Sat. Tyson Jost & JT Compher were put on injured reserve to make space, Compher is skating already btw. Word is maybe 2-3 weeks for those guys. Nemeth & Wilson have undisclosed LBI and are day-to-day.

Some mixing and matching in the lineup tonight. The always terrible Landy/Duchene combo makes another appearance. JB puts two talented youngsters together on the 4th to see if they can exploit some easier matchups. Nail Yakupov has the first game of the rest of his season after being benched for most of last Thursday’s game vs STL. I see this being a night for a lot of blending as the game progresses.
